Tipu’s palace in Bangalore city was built by Tipu Sultan about 200 year ago in 1790. This is a two storied building with wooden pillars and arches. This palace is currently maintained by the archeological department. Entry to the palace is allowed to the general public for a nominal fee. There is a beautiful garden around the palace. A small temple of Venkatraman Swamy is located next to the palace.
