Gavi Gangadhar Temple is one of the important Shiva temples of Bangalore. Makar sankranti is the most famous celebration here. On this day the Sunlight falls exactly on the top of Shiva Linga. There is continuous milk abhisek on the Linga which is witnessed by thousands of people. The event is displayed on large LCD displays for the convenience of the huge gathering.
