Mathsya Mela or Fish Exhibition (Bangalore)

It was a grand Fish Exhibition called as Matsya mela or Fish Expo in Bangalore palace grounds during February 2011. A large variety of ornamental fishes were exhibited. The varieties were much more than any aquarium I have seen including that of Bangalore, Chennai, Vizag and elsewhere. There were more than 100 stalls on fish foods, aquariums, food stalls (sea foods) etc. Although we had no interest in sea foods (we are pure vegetarians) we loved watching fishes.

This video shows the hundreds of varieties of fishes, the stage for cultural programs, the sea food court and the huge number of visitors in the exhibition. There was no entry fee or camera fee. Never miss such a program if you come across in future.
