Vishwashanti Ashram is about 25 kms from Bangalore on Tumkur road. It is spread over 15 acres of land established by Sant Keshav Dash in 1990. When you enter into the Ashram you first see the huge (36 feet) statue of Vijay Vithhal (another form of Lord Vishnu) made of black granite. Near the statue there is a Laxmi Narayana temple sorrounded by small temples of various forms forms of Goddesh Laxmi. Near that there is a big stupa called “Rama Nama Taraka Nidhi Stupa” which depicts the importance of “Rama nama”. After that one may proceed further towards the Geeta Mandir. On the way to Geeta mandir there is are statues of seven women on mountain depicting seven prominent rivers of India. The views of Gayatri temple and Vishwarupa darshana are in the next video.
In the first part we saw 36 feet statue of Lord Vishnua (Vijay Vithhal), Rama Nama Taraka Nidhi Stupa and Saptanadi. In this video we will see Geeta mandir. This whole temple is like a chariot with Lord Krishna and Arjuna on the horse in the front. There are two floors in this temple. The ground floor is dedicated to a beautiful statue of Lord Gayatri and the upper floor is dedicated to a huge statue of Lord Krishna showing Vishwarupa. The Vishwarupa has multiple heads and multiple hands with different ayudhas. This Geeta mandir with beautiful horses and wheels together with the statue of Vishwarupa darshan are great attractions for the visitors.
