Lord Chandranath (Jain) Temple in Dharmasthala

Chandranatha Temple is a prominent Jain temple in
Dharmasthala. Dharmasthala is located on Western Ghat Mountains and is a
pilgrim center for both Hindus and Jains. It is probably the most popular and
most commonly visited pilgrim center in Karnataka. Apart from Chandranatha Temple,
there are other Jain temples like Bahubali statue in Ratnagiri Bahubali Vihara.

Chandranath temple in Dharmasthala is about 1 km from the
famous Manjunatha Temple. It is a simple temple but very attractive. The Idol
of Lord Chandranatha inside the temple is very neatly carved and looks very
attractive. My mom was accompanying us and she was very satisfied to visit so
many temples in Dharmasthala.

Apart from Chandranath temple, there are many interesting points
in Dharmasthala. About 20 thousand devotees take free lunch and dinner on every
day in Dharmasthala. Though the main attraction is Manjunath temple there are
other attractions like Manjusha Museum, Annappa Betta,  Netravati river, Ratnagiri Bahubali Vihar,
Annapoorna Dining hall, Mechanized kitchen and Sri Rama temple etc. which are
shown in separate videos.
