We first visited the Narasimha temple in Joshimath. This temple is famous because lord Badrinath stays here in this temple during winter when Badrinath temple is closed. There are also other temples in the same campus like Vasudeva temple garuda temple, Navadurga temple etc. in the same campus.
Next morning we first went to visit Bhavisya Kedar temple. This is a Shiva temple near Jyotirmath. This is a small temple but very ancient and famous in Joshimath. Next we went to visit Jyotirmath, the matha of Shankaracharya. There we saw Trotakacharya gupha, Shankaracharya gupha, Amara kalpabriksha (2400 years old tree), Tripura Sundari temple, Poornagiri temple and many other temples.
