After visiting various places in Haridwar we went for a single day tour to Rishikesh, Bhimagod and Kanakhal. We first visited Laxmi Narayan temple and Maa Anandamayi Ashram in Kanakhal. We also visited Lalmata mandir in bhimagoda, Vaishno devi temple, Bharat mata mandir, Spatik mani Shivalinga temple, Bhuma Niketan etc.
Rishikesh is full of temples and Ashrams. We saw the statue of Laxman in Laxman chowk, Adibadrinath Dwarakadhish Temple, Saccha Hanuman temple, Geeta Ashram, Gurudev Samadhi Mandir and many other interesting places in Rishikesh. We took lunch in Chotiwala restaurant and enjoyed the famous hanging brideges of Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula. You can really see thousands of temples everywhere in the twin cities of Haridwar and Rishikesh.
