Manasa devi temple is one of the four devi temples in Haridwar. The other three are Chandi devi temple, Anjani devi temple and Maya devi temple. Manasa devi temple is on a small hill. you can go either by walk or by uddan khatola (ropeway or cable car). Our trip was quite memorable as my mom (85 yrs) accompanied us all the tours in haridwar, rishikesh and chardham. We went to the top of the hill by Mansa devi Uddan Khatola. The lengh of the ropeway was 540 meters taking to a hight of 180 meters. Flying on the hills was a breathtaking experience. Mansa means wish. It is believed that the devotee who visit here fulfill all their wishes. Mansa devi temple is considered to be one of the five most important teerthas of Haridwar and one of the four important shakti peethas (viz., Manasa devi temple, Mayadevi temple, Chandi devi temple and Anjani devi temple). After visiting Mansa devi temple we visited Mayadevi temple. Other temples in Haridwar are shown in separate videos.
