Jagannath Puri Rathayatra (Part-3/4)

Rathayatra is one of the most popular Hindu festivals which is not only celebrated in Orissa but also celebrated in all over the world. The main celebration is done at Puri where the Chariots of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra are pulled by thousands of devotees on Badadanda, a 3Km road stretching from Sri Jagannath Temple to Sri Gundicha Temple. Atleast one million people gather in Puri every year to witness this festival. In the previous parts of the video we saw the Chariots in front of Jagannath Temple, Pahandi (carrying of the Idol in a procession), bhajan, kirtan and other devotional activities by thousands of devotees. This part of the video shows pulling of the cars on Grand Road by thousands of the devotees.
