Malai Mahadeswar betta (or MM Hills) is about 250 kms from Bangalore and 120 kms from Mysore. The temple is about 600 years old. Every day around 5000 people take free prasadam (breakfast, lunch and dinner) here. The place is about 900 to 1000 meters high sorrounded by mountains at all sides.
