Kalimpong is about 55 kms from Darjeeling and about 75 kms from New Jalpaigudi. Kalimpong is a beautiful Hill Station. Kalimpong is situated on Himalayas at about 1250 meters above sea level. There are many Buddhist monasteries in Kalimpong. We visited Sakya Monastery in Kalimpong. There is a huge Hanuman statue in Hanuman Park (also called Hanuman tok). There is also a Shiva temple very near to Hanumantok. The Deolo park is the largest and most attractive park in Kalimpong which is shown in a separate video.
