Janapadaloka is an institution dedicated to preserving and propagating the rural folk culture of Karnataka. Janapadaloka is about 90 kms from Bangalore near Ramanagar on Bangalore-Mysore Highway. It is established on 15 acres of land. We had a visit to this place during July 2011. There are 3 tribal museums and a lake inside Janapadaloka. We loved to see the folk dance with drum beating which was luckily being conducted during that time. There was a performance of drum beating and folk dance in Janapadaloka which you will definitely love to watch.
